Because we are closely connected with France. Because the inhabitants of our village are called "French" in the neighboring communities. Because we work on our winery with Chardonnay, a French grape. Because we love French food and the French understanding of gastronomy. That's why France had to become part of our gastronomic vision.

At the same time, we have a deep connection with our region. The Seewinkel and its treasures are an integral part of our philosophy. Tasting the terroir of a region is part of our understanding of what makes good, what makes great cuisine. Whether it's eel from the lake for breakfast, eggs from the godmother in the cookie or tomatoes from Erich Stekovics for dîner. Our cuisine is deeply rooted in the terroir of the region.

Restaurant

In our restaurant you can enjoy an always changing menu. Since we only serve one menu and it is unfortunately not possible for us to serve you otherwise, we ask you to announce any intolerances at least one day before your visit.

Closed: January, February

02.03. bis 30.09.: Thursday, Friday, Saturday (starting 18:00, last order 19:30)

06.10. bis 09.12.: Friday, Saturday (starting 18:00, last order 19:30)

Pets are unfortunately not permitted.

Café

In our café we offer homemade pastries, fine tea and lovingly prepared coffee. The setting could not be more cozy. In our living room with lots of velvet, fabric and wood you can lean back, immerse yourself in a newspaper and relax.

Breakfast

Breakfast in our restaurant is reduced and rich at the same time. Despite regional focus it is not dogmatic. The best cheeses from France and cold meats from Italy and Spain find a place with us as well as regional specialties.

Brekfast is served for hotel guests daily from 8:00 to 10:30.

We had great pleasure in putting together an excellent wine list. With great variety. With wines from Austria. And France. But also from the rest of the world. We have composed a wine list for you that reflects the virtues of our cuisine and complements and enhances the dishes. Our wine list with over 600 positions is a reflection of our philosophy - with wines that are rooted in their terroir, elegant and full of finesse.
